A quick response from Sharjah Civil Defence averted a major disaster as they contained a fire that broke out on the 16th floor of Al Majaz Tower on Al Majaz Street in Sharjah on Tuesday night. At around 11.30pm, they were busy in conducting cooling off procedures as the fire had been put out completely. Residents of the building were being allowed to go back inside and the lights of the building were switched on. No injuries were reported as the fire did not spread
